Women's Tennis Sweeps Willamette On Senior Day

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Lewis & Clark Pioneers women's tennis team handled business with a 9-0 win on Senior Day over the Willamette Bearcats on Sunday at the L&C Tennis Dome.

Seniors Maca Vives and Rachael Rice came back from a 5-2 deficit to beat the Bearcats top pair on court one and also help close out doubles competition for the Pioneers with a 3-0 advantage.

Pacific Hands Men's Tennis First Conference Loss

PORTLAND, Ore.—The Lewis & Clark men's tennis team's hot streak was extinguished by the Pacific University Boxers on Sunday, as Pacific defeated the Pioneers 9-0 at the L&C Tennis Dome.

"Overall it was a good learning experience as the team heads into a couple weekends of break before their next match," assistant tennis coach Phalkun Mam said.

PORTLAND, Ore.—Lewis & Clark College finished their second day of conference play with a 9-0 sweep of Pacific Lutheran University Lutes at L&C Tennis Dome on Sunday afternoon.

This is the Pioneers sixth straight home win and first sweep of the season.

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Lewis & Clark Pioneers hosted the Pacific Boxers Saturday night at Pamplin Sports Center, winning 87-76 in overtime. The Pioneers celebrated three graduating seniors for their final home game of the 2022 season. Players Ryan Cibull and Michael Wudel, as well as student-coach Nate Peterson were honored.
