Born and raised in Hawai'i around countless sports fanatics, it only makes sense that I have become one myself. Growing up, I mainly played volleyball, but also played some basketball, danced hula, and paddled. On my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends at the beach and catching evening local games around the island.

After graduating from Maryknoll High School, I decided to further my academic and athletic career 2,583 miles away from home at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. 

Coming into college, I declared early as a psychology major in hopes of becoming a teacher. However, while easing my way into the college life, I stumbled upon an opportunity to work with the Athletic Communications department and the rest is history. 

Since then, I have graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric & Media Studies with a minor in Entrepreneurship and have also accumulated a lot of time covering high school, college, and professional sports through internships and volunteer opportunities.

In college, I worked extensively with PioStream, which is Lewis & Clark College's Athletic Communications Department. On the off season, aka summer, I found local internships back home on the island of Oahu. During the thick of Covid, I remotely interned with a Hawai'i based high school multimedia platform, ScoringLive where my love for high school sports flourished. A few summers later, I was selected to intern in the sports department at a local NBC affiliate, Hawaii News Nows. From covering local high school sports stories to the Olympic Games, my journey has only begun.
